Alma Pi is a corporate finance and debt advisory boutique, working with corporate clients and institutional investors interested in:

-
Finding new finance (debt and/or equity)
-
Refinancing, restructuring or renegotiating existing debt
-
Revising and optimising relationships with current lenders
-
Preparing to approach "alternative lenders”: hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies
-
Being introduced to (new) foreign bank lenders
-
Investing in performing and stressed/distressed off-market situations in Europe, across the capital structure (equity and debt)
We offer our services to corporate clients in various industries. Our approach is mainly guided by a (capital) market view, aimed at meeting our clients’ corporate finance needs that cannot be fulfilled by traditional lenders for reasons often more linked to their own internal issues (capital cost, NPLs issues, capital ratios) and to market factors, than to the actual credit worthiness and business viability of their customers.
We have a capital markets experience gained over many years working within established banks and investment banks, as well as managers of significan asset portfolios. We make this hands-on experience in various corporate finance products (bonds, loans, factoring, trade finance/forfaiting, securitization) available to our clients by working in partnership with them. This gives us the advantage of having a deep working knowledge of the needs and requirements of both users and providers of the financial tools we deal with.
Where additional specific expertise is required (for example in the legal or tax areas), we have access to a number of professionals with whom we have long-standing relationships developed over many years and in various locations, including London, Singapore, Milan, New York, Madrid, Lugano, Zurich, Frankfurt.
We do not consider ourselves as an alternative – even of temporary nature - to a company’s existing financial management , rather as an ally whose expertise and contacts network is shared with the client's CFO, CEO, Board of Directors.
Often our activity is complementary to that of traditional lenders (banks), who benefit from being able to find, with our help, a financial partner with whom they can share (or to whom they can offload) part of all of the corporate credit risk.
